Projects / Production tracking application for a manufacturer
Web applicationProduction tracking application for a manufacturer
Each order tracked from receipt to shipping: quote, file approval, production, depending on the product type. Built within the services company I co-founded.
The need
A manufacturer keeps its orders in its ERP, but not their production step by step. It wanted to follow each order from receipt to shipping, with steps that change depending on the product type, and with each person seeing only what concerns them.
What I built
A web application where each order moves from receipt to shipping, through the quote, file approval and production. The steps change depending on the product type.
Orders are pulled from the client's ERP by a scheduled sync with its SQL Server database.
The application produces the PDF documents and the emails sent to customers, and stores the files on AWS S3. Role-based access: everyone sees only what concerns them.
A real application, delivered to a manufacturer. I designed and built most of it, as lead full-stack developer, within the services company I co-founded. The client is not named and the application is not shown: it belongs to them.

The journey of an order
- The order is pulled from the client's ERP by a scheduled sync.
- Quote, file approval, production: the steps change with the type of product.
- The PDF documents and the emails sent to customers are produced by the application.
- Shipping, the last tracked step.
What I checked
- Orders are pulled from the client's ERP by a scheduled sync with its SQL Server database.
- Role-based access: everyone sees only what concerns them.
- Files are stored on AWS S3; the application runs on the client's own Linux server.
Automated tests with Vitest.
