A Shopify store connected to Octopia, its logistics provider: every order goes to the warehouse automatically. A 2023 freelance project, in production for a year.
The need
Zephyr OSC sells on Shopify and outsources the packing and shipping of its parcels to Octopia, a logistics company. Orders had to reach the logistics provider without being keyed in again.
What I built
An integration between the Shopify API and the Octopia API: every order placed in the store is sent automatically to the logistics provider, which packs and ships the parcel.
A real project, done as a freelancer in 2023 for Zephyr OSC. There's no public demo: the integration connected the store to the logistics provider, with no user interface to show.

What the integration did
- A customer placed an order in the Shopify store.
- The integration received the order and passed it on to Octopia.
- The logistics provider packed and shipped the parcel.
What I checked
- Went into production in 2023: the store's orders reached the logistics provider without being keyed in again.
- Stayed in production for a year, until Zephyr OSC's needs changed.
- About 50 hours of work, in May and June 2023.
Proven over a year in production, on the store's real orders.
